True Seal Technology

True Seal is an integrated system of wall panels, roof panels, and fastening components that can be used to rapidly construct the shell of any residential, commercial, agricultural or specialty structure

True Seal structures have virtually no air infiltration, no thermal bridging, and whole structure R-values that eclipse all other modern building practices.

By employing the patented True Seal system as a replacement for conventional frame, steel, concrete, brick, or block construction, architects, engineers, builders and developers can incorporate into their designs a high-performance structural shell with energy efficiency, strength, durability, and low initial and lifecycle cost characteristics that have no equal in the construction industry.

A True Seal integrated building package consists of a set of wall and roof panels and a complete set of associated hardware. From design to order to build, the True Seal system is intuitive and easy to use and results in a true high performance building shell which is a true thermal envelope. With our unique roof to wall and wall to foundation connection design, True Seal structures have virtually no air infiltration, no thermal bridging, and whole structure R-values that eclipse all other modern building practices.

Just two types of panels...

eliminate trusses, insulation, exterior OSB, warped walls, and more

  • Our thermal envelope walls tie directly to the foundation and directly to each roof member

  • The result is a true “truss-less” free span roof unique in the industry

  • These panels snap together easily in the field

  • Roof panels mate together and lock to a wall panel with no top plate

  • Wall and roof panels assemble much like Lego pieces

How True Seal - Everything

How True Seal - Changes Everything

True Seal has no true competitors. Our thermal envelope walls tie directly to the foundation and directly to each roof member. Unlike other technologies, True Seal does not use the same solution for different building elements. Roof panels need resistance to transverse (snow) loads and long unsupported spans. Wall panels need resistance to axial (bearing) loads. True Seal roof panels have imbedded “I” joists. The result is a true “truss-less” free span roof unique in the industry. Wall panels have “T” struts on alternating one foot centers. Structural support is incorporated in both roof and wall panels. As a result, engineers and architects can design natively in AutoCad®, order True Seal components consistent with their design, and these panels snap together easily in the field. Integrating each building component in this way makes True Seal easy to field assemble with few and low skilled trades required. Roof panels mate together and lock to a wall panel with no top plate. Wall and roof panels assemble much like Lego pieces. This integrated component feature produces buildings resistant to high winds or seismic activity. A complete 2,000sqft True Seal structure can be field assembled in as few as 10 hours with a team of four low skilled workers.

True Seal is a complete building system. All other alternative building technologies competing in the Green marketplace began as good ideas for new wall technologies. True Seal recognized from the start that these technologies were developed in an attempt to address one, or a small set of, building construction issues for specific applications. They were designed by builders using the mindset and constraints of their current building experience. This approach can only lead to sub-optimal and disjointed solutions. When one building element is designed in isolation, other building elements are left wanting. Good walls do not make good roofs. True Seal began its design effort with a systems engineering approach. The building is viewed as a complete system of integrated and supporting parts working together to provide a complete structural and thermal envelope.

No longer is a building’s structural and thermal performance at the mercy of an assemblage of several separately designed and manufactured roof and wall products. While it is unique and revolutionary in design and performance, True Seal utilizes standard strut and joist spacing and design features to make it subcontractor friendly for all the established finishing trades. At the same time, True Seal is a platform technology that allows many new and innovative energy systems and finish techniques that are not practical or not possible to employ when using even the best of current building practices.
